Terms of service
The short version: you subscribe, we run the software. Try it for 14 days and if it is not a fit you get every rupee back. We set our own prices and can change them — but a subscription that has started keeps its price for the whole of that period.
In effect from 13 August 2026
1Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between your business — the restaurant, café, tiffin centre, bakery or kitchen that subscribes — and Manditi Tech Solutions, which operates EMenuScan.
Subscribing to the service, or using the portal, means accepting them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you are confirming that you are entitled to do so.
2What a subscription gives you
Access to the software for your restaurant and its branches, for the period you have paid for, on any device with a web browser. There is nothing to install and no per-order commission of any kind — the subscription is the whole of what you pay us.
Your subscription includes everything the pricing page lists as included, and the add-ons you have chosen to buy. We keep developing the product, so features are added and improved over time; we will not remove something central to the plan you are paying for without telling you first.
3What it costs, and when the price can change
We set our own prices, and we may change them at any time — including ending a discount that is currently running.
A subscription that has already started is not affected. The price you started on is the price for the whole of that subscription period: if you paid for a year, that year costs what you agreed, whatever happens to the published price in the meantime. A new price applies only from your next renewal, and you will know what it is before you are asked to pay it.
Prices are per restaurant. Additional branches and the staff and payroll add-on are charged separately, at the rates shown on the pricing page. Any taxes that apply are payable in addition unless the price says otherwise.
4The 14-day money-back promise
Take the software, put it in front of your real tables and your real staff, and make up your mind properly. If within 14 days of your first payment for a new subscription you decide it does not fit how you run your floor, tell us and we will refund 100% of what you paid.
All of it — not a proportion, and not a credit note. It applies whether you paid for a month or for a year, and it applies to the add-ons on that subscription too. There is no notice period and no fee for changing your mind.
Ask us on WhatsApp within the 14 days. We return the money by the same route it reached us, as quickly as that route allows. Once a refund is made your access ends, and we will give you an export of your data if you want one.
5Cancelling later
You can stop whenever you like. There is no notice period, no lock-in and no cancellation charge — tell us and the subscription will not renew.
After the 14-day window, cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current period: you keep working normally until the period you have already paid for runs out.
Before you go, ask and we will help you take your data with you.
6What we expect from you
Very little, but it is worth being clear about it.
- Give logins only to the people who need them, and keep them to those people. What somebody does with an account you issued is your responsibility.
- The commercial content is yours: your menu, your prices, your discounts, and the tax settings on your bills. We give you the controls — GST rate, inclusive or added pricing, service charge, round-off, your registration numbers — and setting them correctly for your business is a matter for you and your accountant.
- The service runs on our servers and needs a working internet connection at your end. There is no offline mode.
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful, do not attempt to reach another restaurant's data, and do not resell or sublicense access to it.
7Your data stays yours
Your menu, your customers, your orders, your bills and your staff records belong to you. We hold them in order to run the service, and we handle them as described in the privacy policy — which includes not sharing them with anybody.
Every report exports to CSV whenever you want it, so you never have to ask permission for a copy of your own numbers. If we were ever to stop offering the service, you would get fair notice and help getting everything out.
8Availability
We work to keep the service running and to fix problems quickly, and it is built to run on hardware you already own rather than anything special.
We do not promise that it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance, a fault at the hosting provider, or an internet failure at your end can all stop it, and because everything runs on the server there is no offline mode to fall back on. Where maintenance is planned, we will give notice.
9If something goes wrong
We will put right what is ours to put right. Where the law allows a limit to be set, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10Suspending or ending an account
We may suspend or end a subscription where payment has not been made, or where the service is being seriously misused — for example an attempt to reach data belonging to another restaurant. Except where the misuse is serious enough to require acting immediately, we will tell you first and give you a fair chance to put it right.
You can end your subscription at any time, as described above.
11Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page with the date it took effect at the top, and where a change materially affects you we will tell the people who administer your account. Continuing to use the service after that means the new terms apply.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Something here unclear, or something you need in writing before you sign up? Ask us — we would far rather answer it now than have you find out later.
